As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/news\/Modernized_ClinicalTrials.html\">announced<\/a> last month, the classic website has remained available to help you transition to the modernized website. Effective today, the classic ClinicalTrials.gov website and its application programming interface (API) are retired and no longer available.<\/p>\n<p>The modernized ClinicalTrials.gov website includes the following improvements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Improved navigation and searchability \u2013 easier to use, more functional, streamlined design<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Optimization for mobile devices<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Plain language guidance and support materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">An updated, modernized API that aligns with other publicly accessible APIs and standardized data\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Most features, information, and resources found on the classic website continue to be available on the modernized website and many of the links found on the classic website redirect to the corresponding content on the modern website and will continue to do so throughout 2024.<\/p>\n<p>While we are excited about these improvements, we will continue improving the ClinicalTrials.gov experience based on feedback and suggestions.
