We appreciate all the feedback received since the launch of the modernized ClinicalTrials.gov website<\/a> in June 2023, and we\u2019ve incorporated many of your suggestions. As announced<\/a> last month, the classic website has remained available to help you transition to the modernized website. Effective today, the classic ClinicalTrials.gov website and its application programming interface (API) are retired and no longer available.<\/p>\n The modernized ClinicalTrials.gov website includes the following improvements:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Most features, information, and resources found on the classic website continue to be available on the modernized website and many of the links found on the classic website redirect to the corresponding content on the modern website and will continue to do so throughout 2024.<\/p>\n While we are excited about these improvements, we will continue improving the ClinicalTrials.gov experience based on feedback and suggestions. We already have plans to release the following features later in 2024:<\/p>\n Figure 1:<\/strong> The modernized ClinicalTrials.gov site includes, 1.<\/strong> A standardized header that lets you know you\u2019re on a government website; 2.<\/strong> All content under a single URL with an updated site menu; 3.<\/strong> Location search using geo-based API for more precision; 4.<\/strong> More Filters drop down menu for more complex and personalized queries; 5.<\/strong> Optimized design and function for use on a mobile device.<\/em><\/p>\n If you have questions about the modernized ClinicalTrials.gov website and its new look and feel, check out informational content such as demonstration videos<\/a> that help you navigate the new website and our Top Questions PDF<\/a> about the transition to the Modernized ClinicalTrials.gov and Modernized Protocol Registration and Results System (PRS), the web-based tool used to submit clinical study information to ClinicalTrials.gov.<\/p>\n As always, we encourage you to share feedback to inform continued improvements.
