There is no QR code at the office in Georgetown, TX.
There is a code for you to request a replacement card but nothing for Mobile check in.
Very disappointing.

Hi, Darla. Thanks for reading our blog and for your question. To use Mobile Check-In Express, you have to scan a QR code located at your local Social Security office. This feature makes it easier to check in when you visit an office. The QR code is not used to schedule an appointment. For more information about Mobile Check-In Express, visit our blog. You can safely and conveniently conduct most of your business with us at our website. If you need to schedule an appointment, you can call us at 1-800-772-1213, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or contact your local office. To learn more, review our How to Get Help from Social Security fact sheet and our Frequently Asked Questions. We hope this helps.

Hi, Kristin. Thanks for reading our blog and for your question. Social Security pays disability benefits to adults who are unable to work because of a physical or mental condition that is expected to last at least 12 months or end in death. Our Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program makes payments to adults and children with disabilities who have limited income and resources. We can make “expedited” SSI payments in limited situations. For more information, check out Understanding SSI. To apply for disability, please visit here. You may also be eligible to receive social services from the state in which you live. These include emergency assistance, Medicaid, free meals, housekeeping, transportation, or other services. We hope this helps.
