n June 28-29, 2002, 30,933 monographic and audiovisual records previously resident in the legacy ELHILL databases HISTLINE<sup><font size="-2">®</font></sup>, SPACELINE<sup><font size="-2">®</font></sup> and/or BIOETHICSLINE<sup><font size="-2">®</font></sup> were matched with their source records, now in LocatorPlus. <em>[Editor's Note: The sum of records affected by this project (and reported in this article) is less than the total in the three sub-projects because a few records were updated more than once, to reflect their previous presence in more than one of the three legacy databases.]</em>
|

These LocatorPlus records were then marked to show that they may be of interest to users searching for materials in the specialized subject areas of history of medicine, space life sciences, or bioethics.
|
|

|
|
|
<p>
|
|
In the case of the records previously resident in BIOETHICSLINE, unique keywords assigned by the Kennedy Institute of Ethics (KIE), Medical Subject Headings (MeSH<sup><font size="-2">®</font></sup>), and related data from each BIOETHICSLINE record were also merged into the matching LocatorPlus record.
|
