<p>The Seminole medicine man Josie Billie shares some of his vast knowledge of healing plants with the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company of Kalamazoo, Michigan, helping the company in its development of a tranquilizer. For thousands of years, Native peoples have used a wide variety of plants for healing numerous ailments and injuries.</p> <!-- Theme -->
