|
|
<p>Congress appropriates funds for grants to tribal communities to construct hospitals to serve Indians and non-Indians.</p>
|
|
<p>The Indian Health Facilities Act of 1957 (P.L. 85-151) recognizes that the lack of adequate clinic and hospital facilities on Indian lands, particularly in remote locations, limits the provision of medical care to Indian peoples.</p> <!-- Theme -->
