<PRE>Asnval and cleanasn, which both use the C Toolkit, will be retired September 30, 2016. Both tools will be replaced with versions that use the C++ Toolkit, asnvalidate and asn_cleanup. If you have not already done so, please make plans to switch to using the C++ versions of these tools.
|

We have automated regression tests set up to compare the results of the C and C++ versions to ensure the new versions produce accurate results. Our tests currently show the C++ versions to provide comparable or better results for the test cases that we have included.
