While our existing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/cgv\/?utm_source=ncbi_insights&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=mcgv-introduction-20250116\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Comparative Genome Viewer (CGV)<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> allows you to compare pairs of eukaryotic assemblies, the new MCGV tool can help you analyze multiple assemblies in a single view.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559738":150,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MCGV displays are based on multiple whole genome sequence alignments. You can navigate these alignments in the viewer to track evolutionarily related regions across strains or species. Focus in on a particular genome region to investigate how differences in genome structure may have contributed to differences in gene sequence and function.
