Innovators
Three of the most important figures in the development of the Internet were J. C. R Licklider, Leonard Kleinrock, and Larry Roberts. Each of these innovators sought to find ways to transform computers into interactive tools for communication and collaboration. All did so with the active support of the Department of Defense.
