As of February 5, 2020, both the web search for Entrez SNP (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/snp/) and the E-utilities (ESearch, ESummary, and EFetch) offer improved support for searching and reporting positions in the GRCh37 build of the human genome.
