[Utilities-announce] SOAP interface for E-utilities ending on July 15, 2015

Dear SOAP EUtilities Users,



Previously we have announced that we are terminating the SOAP interface to the E-utility API on July 1, 2015. We are now extending that date to July 15, 2015. After that date, SOAP calls to the E-utilities will no longer function.


Please be aware that this change has no effect on the standard URL interface to the E-utilities described at eutils.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov. If you are currently using the SOAP interface, consider changing to the URL interface to retrieve NCBI data (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK25497/).
