PubMed E-Utilities Users,

Beginning in mid-December, approximately on December 13, 2010, PubMed E-utility ESearch results will include citations for a subset of books available on the NCBI Bookshelf. Please see the NLM Technical Bulletin for details:

Therefore, EFetch XML may include both PubMedArticle and PubMedBookArticle results, e.g.,

XML results will conform to the already published DTD:
