\nAt the examination of the President at 8.30 this A. M. the temperature was 98\u00b0; pulse, 102; respiration, 18. There was no perceptible febrile rise during the night, the pulse ranging from 102 to 112.
\nThe cough was less troublesome than on previous nights, and the expectoration unchanged. He is able to take the nourishment and stimulants required without gastric disturbance nor has there been evidence of mental aberration during the night.<\/p>\n
