Drug Levels and Effects
Summary of Use during Lactation
Telaprevir is no longer marketed in the United States and has not been studied in nursing mothers. Because it must be used with ribavirin and peginterferon alfa, it is not considered a good choice during breastfeeding. When it was marketed, the manufacturer recommended that mothers taking telaprevir not breastfeed their infants.
