The Internet has transformed our understanding of the world. Today, ideas about information and networks dominate our thinking. We proclaim that we live in an Information Age, where knowledge truly is power. We celebrate our "network society" of ever-increasing interconnection. At the same time, we worry that the price of interdependence may be the loss of individuality and local culture. |
