Planning a Visit
to
The Once and Future Web Exhibition
Please use the following step-by-step outline to prepare an educational and experiential visit to The Once and Future Web, May 24, 2001 to July 31, 2002.

Step 1.
Schedule a guided tour by sending a request using the Online Request Form. This form may be submitted online or by fax. If you have any questions, please contact the exhibition educator by email at educator@nlm.nih.gov or by telephone at 301-496-5963.

Step 2.
The exhibition educator contacts you to discuss a tentative agenda. This pre-visit planning will help create a program that meets your objectives.

Step 3.
Review the suggested Pre-Visit Activities and activate your students minds and interests.

Step 4.
Find out where to go and when.

  • Onsite facilities
    A cafeteria is located across the street from the Library at the Natcher Conference Center. There are also picnic tables located on the Library grounds. Please note that food and beverages may be consumed only in the cafeteria or outside. Public telephones, restrooms, and drinking fountains are located near the entrance to the Library and the exhibition. An entrance ramp for wheelchair access is located on the north side of the Library with nearby elevator access to the Library's exhibition.

Step 5.
Have fun with Onsite Activities at the exhibition.

Exhibition and Library Hours
from Labor Day to Memorial Day:
Mon-Wed, and Fri:
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thurs: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sat: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sun: Closed

Summer hours
from Memorial Day to Labor Day:
Mon - Fri: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sun: Closed

The Library is closed for Federal holidays and the Saturday preceding a Monday holiday. Check the Library's holiday schedule.
