The newest (Oct 02, 2004) public release of the NCBI C++ Toolkit is
now available at:
		  ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/toolbox/ncbi_tools++/CURRENT/

It includes distribution source archives for UNIXes, MS-Windows and Darwin.

More release details are provided here (please READ-IT, it gives a good view
not only of what changed, but also of what we have in the Toolkit and there
it goes):
     ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/toolbox/ncbi_tools++/CURRENT/RELEASE_NOTES.html

NOTES:

1) This release drops the support of MSVC++ 6.0 compiler (so use .NET/7.1 one).

2) On MAC, the xCode-based build framework can now be used (in addition to
   the standard CodeWarrior and MAKE/GCC ones).

3) This public release is made off the snapshot of "production" CVS source tree
   (with maybe a few fixes), which can be retrieved using symbolic tag
   "ProductionBuild_20040911u1".

4) For the guidelines on how to retrieve the "development" and "production"
   NCBI C++ Toolkit sources from the public CVS server at NCBI, consult here:
