New "subspecies-aware" taxonomy lookup is about to be unveiled per TM-504. It will affect results from objects::CTaxon1 and

objects::CTaxon3 classes. It's main difference from old version is promotion of orgname modifiers' values (org-ref.orgname.mod) of type sub-species, variety, and forma to taxonomic name and try to get database match for it. It also populates org-ref.orgname.attrib with value "specified" for well-specified name (usually in binomial form 'Genus species' or trinomial form 'Genus species subspecies').

This new lookup algorithm makes obsolete old C Toolkit library ncbitxc2 which will be removed from C Toolkit libraries at $NCBI/ncbi/lib/ shortly per CCC-4. Instead, C developers can use C++ wrapper library ncbitxc2cxx available at $NCBI/c++/{Debug|Release}/lib/
