Excerpt

No information is available on the clinical use of vestronidase alfa during breastfeeding. Because vestronidase alfa is a large protein molecule with a molecular weight of about 290,000, the amount in milk is likely to be very low and absorption is unlikely because it is probably destroyed in the infant's gastrointestinal tract. If vestronidase alfa is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. Until more data are available, vestronidase alfa should be used with careful infant monitoring during breastfeeding.
