Effective July 10, 2023, NCBI\u2019s Assembly and Genome record pages now redirect to\u00a0<\/span>new\u202fNCBI Datasets\u202f<\/span><\/a>pages. As <\/span>previously announced<\/span><\/a>, these updates are part of our ongoing effort to modernize and improve your user experience. NCBI Datasets is a new resource\u202fthat makes it easier to find and download genome data.\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During this transition, you will have the option to return to the legacy Genome and Assembly record pages. We will remove the legacy pages in early 2024.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Want to see an example of the new NCBI Datasets record pages in action? Starting from the\u202f<\/span>NCBI Assembly record page<\/span><\/a>, enter “<\/span>brown bear<\/span><\/a>” in the search bar and select UrsArc2.0 from the search results. You will then be taken to the new\u202f<\/span>NCBI Datasets Genome record page<\/span><\/a> (see below).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> NCBI Datasets is a part of the\u202f<\/span>NIH Comparative Genomics Resource (CGR)<\/span><\/a>.
