Griffith serves as the Deputy Inspector General guiding OIG audits, investigations, and other efforts for maximum impact and value to DFC and stakeholders. Prior to joining DFC in May 2021, she served as the Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Postal Service OIG where she ensured investigations and audits of the over $70 billion Postal Service programs and operations conformed to legal requirements and best practices. Prior to postal OIG, she served as a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Department of State, OIG, providing legal advice on audits, investigations, and inspections. She also lead proactive anti-corruption initiatives to assist countries such as China, Namibia, Vietnam combat fraud, waste, and abuse. Prior to the State Department, OIG, Gladis served as an Attorney at the U.S. Agency for International Development, OIG, where she advised on audits, investigations of high-profile, multi-national, and multi-million dollar foreign assistance contracts and grants. Prior to government service, she advised on private sector personal injury, contracts, family law, and criminal defense matters.</p><p>In her spare time, Gladis teaches graduate procurement courses for the University of Virginia. She also taught business ethics and administrative law at the University of Maryland, Global Campus. Gladis obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Boston College School of Law, her Bachelor of Arts and Science from Boston College, and her D.E.U.G. from Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier, France. She is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar and the Massachusetts State Bar.</p></div>
