This figure shows a four-step model for developing a learning collaborative: (1) identify common interests (connect people and share information), (2) activate social networks (build trainee-to-trainee and director-to-director relations), (3) inter-program capability (build stronger relationships and share knowledge), and (4) build national capacity (increasing coordination among programs and building relationships with other stakeholders).
