Figure 1 illustrates the number of patients participating at each time point in the registry. During enrollment, a total of 3319 patients presented to registry sites for UAE consideration (2292 at "core" sites and 397 at "participating" sites). Of the patients at the core sites, 140 patients either were ineligible or declined to participate, while 19 patients at participating sites were ineligible or declined to participate, for a total of 3160 eligible patients.

All participating patients had data collected at 3 time points: baseline (prior to the procedure), during hospitalization for the procedure, and 30 days post-procedure. Required baseline data was complete for 3015 of the 3160 patients (95.4%; some required data was missing for 121 of the patients from core sites and for 34 patients from the participating sites). In-hospital data was collected for 3041 of 3160 patients (96.2%; required data was missing for 90 of the core site patients and for 29 patients from participating sites). Thirty-day post-procedure data was available for a total of 2729 patients (86.3%; data was missing for 343 of the core site patients and for 88 of the participating site patients). Note that some patients with incomplete baseline data had available data for in-hospital and 30 day outcomes.
