Future Plans
- First quarter of 2009 all 33 regional hospitals will go live with the Emergency Preparedness Resource Inventory Tool (EPRI).
- Usage to be tied back to Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) funding requirements.
- Public Health to be on-line by mid-summer of 2009.
- Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs) to be brought on-line as demand exists.
- Use EPRI effectively in 2009 regional exercise.
- Provide EPRI to all county emergency operations centers within the region.
Speaker Notes:
During the late winter-early spring months of 2009, all 33 regional hospitals will be brought online with EPRI. Public health will be brought on through the remainder of the year and EMAs on an as-needed basis. The first true test for EPRI at a regional level will be during the region's 2009 pandemic flu drill. All county emergency operations centers will have access to EPRI by the close of 2009.
