Eric 1335abb322 bugfix: handle non-JSON-serializable types (Decimal, datetime) in mysql_query results (#782) ... * bugfix: handle non-JSON-serializable types (Decimal, datetime) in mysql_query results cursor.fetchall() can return rows containing types like decimal.Decimal or datetime that are not natively JSON-serializable. Ansible's exit_json then fails with "Value of unknown type: <class 'decimal.Decimal'>". Fix by round-tripping query results through json.dumps(default=str) + json.loads before passing to exit_json, which coerces any non-serializable value to its string representation. * add integration test for Decimal/datetime serialization fix (issue-782) - tests/integration/targets/test_mysql_query/tasks/issue-782.yml: new test that creates a table with DECIMAL and DATETIME columns, inserts a row, queries it, and asserts the task succeeds and values are returned as strings - update main.yml to include the new test - fix TODO placeholder in changelog fragment with actual PR number #782 * rename test file issue-782 -> issue-783 (bug issue number), update changelog ref The integration test and changelog fragment should reference the bug issue (#783) not the PR number.
